The pre-separator is used for all types of applications where materials and liquids need to be cleaned and filtered before being discharged into sewer systems or bodies of water. Mounted in front of the MACH I industrial sludge vacuum cleaner, the pre-separator separates everything that needs to be filtered during suction work. Large particles are separated by gravity – suspended particles sucked in sink into the tank and remain at the bottom. Filtration with the so-called sponge filter, which can be used as an option, stops coarse particles before they reach the sludge suction unit, thus preventing blockages in the suction unit. The pre-separator is also ideal for use in the event of oil spills. Previously spread granulates or other binding agents are effectively extracted via the pre-separator and settle there. The binding agent can then be disposed of. Depending on the duration of use, intermediate emptying may be necessary. Additional containers provide relief and allow work to continue uninterrupted.
